The player controls three characters in Assassin’s Creed 3: Desmond, Haytham Kenway and Connor. In Revelations, Desmond has discovered the location of the Last Temple in the United States and must therefore find the key to unlock it. These objects have considerable intrinsic power and their assembly constitutes cards or keys. Everyone is looking for artifacts left behind by an ancient civilization that is more technologically advanced than ours, but which disappeared thousands of years before the birth of man. The struggle between Assassins and Templars has indeed survived in all eras since their beginning during the Crusades: the handful of Assassins who resist today (of which Desmond is the last descendant) are threatened by the multinational company Abstergo Industrieswhich embraces the ideas of the Templars.
This man can relive the memories of his ancestors thanks to a device called “Animus”, allowing him to travel in time through their common genetic memory. As in the other game in the series, the player controls Desmond Miles in the xxi th century. Assassin’s Creed 3 is the sequel to Assassin’s Creed Revelations.
